PAK FA, Sukhoi
PAK FA fifth-generation Sukhoi fighter aircraft, designed by the Sukhoi Design Bureau for the Russian air force. PAK FA, when fully developed is intended to replace the MiG-29 Fulcrum and Su-27 Flanker in the Russian inventory and provide the basis for the project Sukhoi / HAL FGFa (developed with India). In the fifth-generation fighter, it is in direct competition with the American F-22 Raptor, and Anglo-American F-35 Lightning second.
Existing prototype called T-50 had its maiden flight Jan. 29, 2010. He was taken Sukhoi test pilot Sergei Bogdan and lasted 47 minutes. This is the second flight took place on February 6, is the third testflight on February 12, 2010.
In the late 1980s, the Soviet Union stressed the need for new generation aircraft to replace the MiG-29 and Su-frontline services 27. Two projects have been proposed to address this need, the Su-47 and Mikoyan Project 1.44. In 2002, Sukhoi was elected captain for the construction of new fighter aircraft. PAK-FA will incorporate technology such as the Su-47 and MiG 1.44.

Design of the plane
Although most information on the PAK FA is a secret, she says, from conversations with people in the Russian Air Force and Department of Defense that will be hidden (at a level slightly lower than the F-117), it is possible to supercruise be equipped with a new generation of air-air, air-ground and air-ship missiles, including a 1500 AESA radar array elements, and have "artificial intelligence".
PAK FA is required to use steam Saturn 117S engines on the first flights. 117C (AL-41F1A) is a major update of AL-31F, based on AC-41F is designed to provide Su-35BM, the production of 142 kN with afterburning thrust and 86.3 kN dry. Indeed, the PAK FA is already used a new engine in its maiden voyage, as indicated by Saturn. The engine is not based on the Saturn 117S. The engine produces more thrust and integrated automation systems, to facilitate flight modes, such as handling. The exact characteristics of this new engine is still a mystery.
The video shows first that the rudder does PAK-FA/T-50 classic flight, the vertical tails are fully mobile. The special design of tail fin is mechanically similar to the V-tail are used Northrop YF-23 in the 1990s, and expanded on stabilators horizontal (like the F-22). T-50 wing has advanced devices on the jet engine of consumption, which would be called a problem of signature verification.
